Doilies

This morning, I shared this gorgeous image of a doily covered canvas on Facebook...

It's such a great idea to use vintage and heirloom pieces in a modern home and gives a lovely finished effect, so I've been inspired to create a doily Treasury for today!

Most Favourited Project

So, I logged into Ravelry just now, to have a browse through some of the recent patterns, to find a load of new messages from various users to congratulate me on having the "Most Favourited Project" of 2013!

Twit Twoo!

Obviously, I'm absolutely thrilled with this, and also very surprised! I never thought I could make something that could receive so much attention...especially worldwide! So I want to say a big thank you to the 3, 411 Ravelry users that have favourited this project to date. I also want to give a big shout out to The Hat & I for designing this wonderful pattern in the first place. I have had a few users writing to me to request the pattern, so please send all requests to the original writer - I can't take credit for this gorgeous pattern.

Thanks again to everyone for being so kind and leaving such wonderful comments on my project page. I have sent each of you a private message in response to your comments, but thank you again anyway!

Projects for the future? Well, I'm not sure if I can top the incredible response that my owl blanket has received, but I am currently still working on my blanket for Dave, which will be 361 squares in total (I need to have a recount soon and work out how many I have now), and have loads of projects lined up to follow that when it's finished. Please come back to keep track of what I'm up to! I always love reading your comments, and seeing you all on Facebook, so please drop by and say hello!
