As you've seen in my latest Treasury, yesterday I went on an outing to Sidmouth with my Grandparents! It was really good fun and I love spending time with them, on our little outings.

It had been years since I visited Sidmouth last. It's only about an hour away from where I live, and means crossing the border into Devon. I should definitely take more trips down that way though, because it's a beautiful area, and despite being right next to Dorset, has a completely different feel to it.

The famous red cliffs

Sidmouth is known for it's deep orange / red cliffs, which looked stunning in the sun yesterday afternoon. I took the opportunity to use the Holga toy lens that Dave gave me for Christmas. It adds a really gorgeous vignette and a vintage appearance your photographs, which I love!

Another picture from my Holga lens! Seagulls sitting in the river, just before it meets the sea. I quite like this picture! Like I said though, it was a fantastic day. We had lunch on top of the cliffs, next to Jacob's Ladder, in the Connaught Gardens, which was delicious!

A view from lunch

I can't wait to take more daytrips now that the sun has started showing it's face, and the weather is beginning to warm up. It definitely feels like Spring is here now, and I can get out and about with my camera again!

By The Seaside

Yesterday I visited Sidmouth with my Grandparents, which was lots of fun! I hadn't been in a long time, so it was great to get some fresh air and sunshine! So, following the seaside theme, here are some lovely beachy crochet items!
