5th and 6th November

Since I shared the video of my boat page last night, I thought I'd give you a peek into my other two completed scrapbook pages from yesterday! I was on a roll; I'm so pleased with how all three turned out!

5th November 2011

The 5th November consisted of a full day in Wales, whilst away with one of my best friends, Kirsty. We were staying just outside a tiny village called Crugybar, and decided to head over to Carmarthen for the day, to visit the market. On the way, we passed a gorgeous lake and got out to wander around for the little while; there were loads of wild birds and Red Kites! The photo top right is the lake, with a framed photo of two Kites. Bottom left is actually the view from my bedroom window that morning, but it was so beautiful that I wanted to include it anyway! You can't really see from the angle of the photograph, but a lot of the pieces are 3D on this page; the stamps, frame, top title and some of the flowers are all raised, and accented with coloured pearls.

6th November 2011

The 6th November was the day we came home. But we made a day of it (partly because we got fantastically lost in the mountains!). We managed to accidentally find Pen-Y-Fan; the highest point in South Wales, which is sitting in the top right corner. Underneath is a mountain I don't know the name of, but I really liked the picture! And of course, a photo of Kirsty and I just before we left the cottage that morning. I love this page. It's so cute and happy! Again, lots of it is 3D; some of the flowers, the birds, pink statements, and rainbow. I also added gems to the flowers centres to make them a bit more fun! Most of the embellishments on this page are K&Co's Panacci Blossom, which I recently purchased on eBay, after lusting after them for a while! I also used my Washi tape for the first time in my scrapbook! So far it's only featured in my journal, but I figured it fitted in here nicely and used it! That was the reason I bought it in the first place, after all!

Anyway, really, really pleased! What do you think?
